In the grand scheme of things, Markets.com is a fairly new player in the world of online Forex trading. That being said, the company has grown in size pretty rapidly, and for good reason–they offer tight spreads.
In fact, only recently the company entered into a partnership with Arsenal Football Club (an English team), this is a pretty big deal considering a team of Arsenal’s size will only want to partner with the very best. On this page we are going to take a little look at Markets.com in a bit more depth.
Markets.com allows you to only trade Forex and CFDs at the moment, although there is a bit of speculation that they will be opening up their trading platform later on down the line.
One of the things that we absolutely love about Markets.com, and something which we wish most other companies picked up on, is the fact that they offer their platform in a variety of different languages, 20 of them in fact. This may not seem like a big deal to you if you are a native English speaker, but we know plenty of non-natives out there who have had to traverse the cumbersome interfaces that other platforms provide without really getting any guidance as to what each word means and this can, in a few situations at least, cause problems when it comes to trading.
In terms of the website for Markets.com, it appears to be pretty decent. It is not the easiest in the world to browse, but we did not expect it to be. There are a lot of trading options available but once you drill down on exactly what you want you should be able to get there easily. Regardless; you should never be trading without testing out a platform beforehand anyway and that is something that we actively urge you to do with Markets.com. It will benefit you…big time!
There are no commissions or fees on any of the trades that you make and they tend to execute pretty quickly (in most cases they are instant). This is a stark contrast to other platforms out there which can take minutes to react when you make a purchase or a sale. This can of course lose you some money due to slippage (we all know how quickly prices can change!).
One of the things that we also love about Markets.com is that you do not actually need to make a large deposit in order to start your trade. You only need to deposit $100 and you should be fairly good to go. This makes the platform perfect for those who are looking to whet their teeth with a little bit of day trading.
So, do we recommend Markets.com? You bet we do! It is actually a pretty decent platform to use and the majority of traders out there should be fairly happy with it. We find that Markets.com tends to work best for those who are making smaller trades. You may want to look elsewhere if you are trading thousands upon thousands of dollars at a time.
